If you can find a WOZ ROM 0 board then I agree - it is the *easiest*
as you do not need to solder on the keyboard connector (its already
there). If you get a WOZ ROM 0 board, you may need to upgrade it (if
not already done) to become a ROM 01 (note: you can't upgrade to ROM03
though, as the board was physically changed - not just the ROMs. The
ROMs are bigger in a ROM03 also.).

But AFAIK, *all* ROM 01 boards have the solder points, so you don't
*need* a WOZ ROM 0 board. It is a fairly simple procedure soldering on
the keyboard connector for anyone with some soldering skills (hey, I'm
a software guy and I found it relatively easy!). Get a toothpick, heat
the solder, push it out with the toothpick and remove it with a solder
sucker. The 26 pin IDC sockets are readily available from electronics
stores. Plonk the keyboard socket into the solder points (noting the
orientation marked on the board) and solder it on. That's how I did
it.   ;-)
