Yeah, right.

I never used the automatic daylight saving on GS/OS, because it only
knew about the US rules. I needed something which was almost exactly the
opposite, as I'm in the southern hemisphere.

I just changed mode manually.

Interesting omission.

I thought that Apple was the leader in internationalization in the
PC market, so that's a pretty conspicuous oversight.

I suppose one could always automate it in a startup program that
checked the date, but maybe the interface is not even visible...
