I agree 100%. About 12 months ago I converted an old //e (that died)
into a IIgs (so its a IIgs hiding inside a //e case) for my 3 year
daughter. She has a core set of educational games that she loves to
play, and plays them most nights with me when I get home from work.
Sure, one day she will probably "need" to upgrade to a more modern
machine - but for now, she is more concerned with having a real
computer and what it can do for her as opposed to counting the number
of pixels it can display or how many Gigahertz it runs at. :-)
