IIgs's can be had for decent prices these days, generally well below
$50 - in fact you'll probably pay more in shipping to get it to you
that you will for the unit itself.  Add a $100 CFFA card from Rich
Dreher and a CF card for your mass storage solution.  An additional
$100 or so will get you an Uthercard and you're on your way.
