Well, a TTL serial interface is about as easy as it could be. Just bit-bang the serial data out an annunciator connected to the chip's data in pin. The chip no doubt needs to talk back, too, so its data out pin should be hooked to a pushbutton input. Then write suitably clever code on the Apple to send commands and listen for acknowledgements. ;-) The connector has +5 and gnd, so all you need is some headphones or an amplified speaker. -michael NadaNet networking for Apple II computers!
