For the times when I get desperate, I run Windows through VMWare on my
Linux box. Since my hardware is only a few months old, this runs well
enough that it's virtually indistinguishable from actually running it
natively.

Since you can get VMWare gratis, I'd recommend anyone who's 'gone
Linux' uses this approach, at least until the other virtualisation
solutions mature a little more - I'm keen to try out the hardware
virtualisation features of my current setup, but the software support
just isn't there yet.
