I've just bought an original copy of 'Moon Patrol' on eBay, and was
wondering if there are in fact two different versions of this game on
the Apple II. On all the 'cracked' versions I've seen, the start of a
game looks like this...

However, on the original disk, the start of a game looks like this,
with your moon buggy starting at a 'base', similar to that in the
original arcade version (sorry about the blurriness of this picture,
it's a photo of my computer screen rather than a screenshot from an
emulator)...

So are there in fact two different versions, or did the 'crackers'
alter the game when removing the copy protection?
