Drifting further afield, I've had such consistent bad luck with UPS,
across multiple decades and addresses, that I no longer give them
business unless it's virtually life-or-death and there's no alternative.
And when a company doesn't get my business because they only ship UPS,
they find out why they're losing me to the competition.

I once had a machine bounce back and forth between the sender's and my
local UPS depots 3 times before finally being delivered in something
like 60 pieces. Bits of shielding inside the case had sheared off.
