This reminds me, I read an interview with a game developer in a gaming
history book once.  In the interview he said that he was finishing up
the Apple II port of Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders.  Now I
know that Zak was never commercially released for the Apple II, but
this seems to indicated that a prototype may be floating around out
there somewhere.  I should dig around for that developers name.
