If you ever look at some of the Commodore models you can see Commodore
was trying to solve that problem with the Commodore 116, (originally
called the TED, alter the 264, which spawned a much larger but wedge
shaped Plus/4 as well as a VIC/64 breadbox style cased Commodore 16)
Anyway the 116, would have made an exxelent doorstop which would have
squashed the sinclair doorstop compeition - the added rubber key tops
doing better door stoppage than the flimsy Sinclair ZX flat membrane
plastic keyboard  not to mention the added bulk of better graphics
chips and more RAM chips.

Alas only our German brothers could readily stop thier doors with the
116.
