Actually the little bit of free info was enough to show that the
Commodore Business Machines started this "doorstop" name-calling over
21 years ago.

In some cases organizations sponsor full text articles which is a nice
way to see these things evolve so thanks to "The History Boys" for this

I found that one using Google Archive News Search and I am sure that
there are plenty of Apple 2 results in there. I never had an Apple but
the BASIC was standard enough to easily translate to my machine hence
the respect.
