Re: Timemaster H.O.

I have two Timemaster clock cards, a Rev .4 and Rev 1.2. I have used
these cards interchangeably for a number of years in an IIe. I recently
replaced the battery on the 1.2 and now I can't get the IIe to see the
card (No Device connected [in several different slots]). The new
battery is charging so it must be installed correctly. I have cleaned
the card fingers.
Any suggestions?
My first question is how do you know the battery is charging?
(There's no indicator.)
Polarity is the only consideration in installation, aside from
good contacts. Did anything happen to the card between the
last time it worked and now?
When the computer is on, the battery should be irrelevant.
It is needed only to retain the time when the computer is off.
