Re: Apple IIgs Monitor

You can also buy a good quality IIgs-->SCART cable from Roger Johnstone
in NZ. I recently bought one for use with an old Amiga monitor and his
cable works great!

See the IIgs-->SCART page on his site (Vintageware):

I would solder it myself but the question is where to find scart Monitors(I have one or two old cables in a grab-box).
I have not realized that they are almost unknown here in the US.

May I have to bring one with me when I am in Europe next time.

Anyhow, right now my original Monitor works and I still have a spare.(But you never know)

Originally this post was about a guy in Australia asking AU$100 for a refurbished Monitor. I guess this is way to pricey as you can by a iiGS inclusive Monitor for $20 from ebay (+$30-$60 for shipping and Packaging bonus)

Thanks for all you input. The Scart option makes me worry less about having a perfect iigs but no screen for display.
