Perhaps you shouldn't complain about lack of response when you make it
hard to respond. ;-)
Being certain age and ethnic group, I reserve the right to complain any time
I feel like it :)
I hear that. ;-)
Bots don't scare me at all.
- Dad, are you afraid of rabbits?
- Of course not, why?
- You take a dog and a gun when you go hunting.
;-)
Bots do not SCARE me, but the spam they bring do annoy me a lot!
But you are doing what you do because you think that if you don't,
something you don't like will happen. That's an hypothesis worth
testing.
1. I don't use a spam filter, so I see it all.
2. I publish my real email address in every posting.
3. I seldom have more than a half-dozen spam messages a day, which
I can delete before reading in about 20 seconds.
Apparently, the tactics used to collect email addresses have changed
since the newsgroup 'bot craze.
Anyway, looks like there is a critical mass: I'll do a tiny production run.
May take a few weeks.
Glad to hear it, Alex!
