Another, slightly more tedious way could be to rebuild your characters
with a character editor - in several issues of Hardcore Computist are
info tables and even complete programs to do this.
There's little about BT2 but a lot about BT3:
Infos: Issue 59 (p18,20,36), 61 (p32&33), 62 (p20) and several in issue
72.
Editor: Issue 64 (p 28) and errata in 66 (p7).
This method has the advantage of giving your party a monetary push as
well ;o)
