You need a disc in the drive?  Maybe that's the problem because it's
empty at the moment (it takes those little caddies and I don't have it
in there at the moment).

The terminator is a pass-thru since it has connections on both sides.
The weird thing is that it works just fine as a termintor for just the
HD (I don't have a second 'stop type' terminator). I assumed it just
went on the unused port on the CD drive just like it does on the HD
when I don't have the CD drive connected.  So are you saying that I
need TWO terminators to connect two devices?

AFAIK the setup works.  I bought it from someone and they had it
working when they sold it.  IIRC his setup only had the one terminator.

So what about the SCSI ID?  Does the HD need to be higher than the CD
or is it the other way around?
