I think the design flaw is that there's insufficient
buffering/decoupling close to the amp circuit. It's probably a fairly
simply hack to throw in some reserve current nearby...
But certainly if it's more noticeable now that before, it indicates the
power supplies' filters are becoming marginal - an extremely common
problem. You'd be wise to replace the other caps while you're in there.
