What I did to get stuff from the Internet to my IIGS was to burn the
stuff to CD and put it in my Color Classic.  Share the drive and copy
them to the IIGS via AppleTalk.  You should be able to connect the
computers up that way.  I have a IIGS and a PowerMac that connect in
the office.

No need to mess with floppies.  The AppleTalk kits are out there and
pretty reasonable.
