  The Silentype was serial too, sorta, but it used a special interface
card in the ][.  Even got it's power from the card.  I have one in the
next room, minus the card of course.

  The Scribe was serial.  The only Apple branded printers I remember
being parallel was the DMP and DWP.  They marketed a Centronics brand
printer before the DMP.  I think it was a Centronics 770, or something
like that.

  Most forgotten printer was the LQP, the Imagewriter II on steroids.
Most printers in that kind had a 24 pin printhead, the LQP had a 27 pin
head.  Made sense, since a regular printer had 9 pins.  3 times 9 is
27.

  The Daisywheel printers from Diablo were awesome in their day.  I had
several.  And a few made printers with 3 printheads.  All dot matrix
printers left my life when I hacked together my own LaserWriter Plus.
