i have the oks manual someplace....i also have 2 of them one might be broke 
(another project to have checked) ...one of them (or both i can't remember) 
has the scsi add on card

i don't have a 'disk' for it either..but the person i got it from said he 
pop'ed it up and it worked fine bopping and spinning his 3 1/2" and 5 1/4" 
drives in xmas tree light look ahead mode...



man i got a lot of stuff i never play with....keep meaning too

i have determined that my life is just one big "infrarastructure problem" 
....want to fix up my house...needed to tear out cistern in bsmt for room 
for workshop to do chores./fix up etc.....want to work on apple // bbs 
stuff...need to revamp place in a room for computer setup and test stuff 
like oks card...backup up my floppies via ciderpress etc...want to put up 
bbs server back up (worldgroup) in order to put apple // bbs'es back up on 
the old internet...yeah you got it..... need to revamp whole works and prob 
get computer club just to lever it back up...i.want a life...........like to 
train in shotokan karate...i run a club at local univ...too much teaching 
not enough training...yet another thing to juggle...did i mention i need a 
life.....i've been looking around none to be found ..unless i want to become 
social alcaholic.and match.com well....i'm lame but not quite that lame 
yet......so....people tell me i need to be a "HOST" whatever that 
means...invite people over? have wine and cheese party....be entertaining 
.sit around and play 'wisk' (wtf is wisk?) and charades....???? .if i was 
entertaining (or i suspect most of us in this group) or had the 'HOST' 
gene...i prob would not be the retro computer nerd (outdated apple ii 
computer nerd no less..the rarefied sub-nerd category..soon to be extenct of 
the computer nerd family)...i am now....ie repeat loop....

so...i get bummed out on trying to get something together to pull a few of 
these projects together and so go on ebay when bored...and buy yet more 
apple // stuff ...which ends up on shelf...repeat loop.....it is hard to be 
an 'evil' genius and want to play with your apple // or other toys...when as 
said evil genuis.....you can't even get the dang LAB built......

argh>.....

prob need to start retro computer club so people will bug me to fire up my 
toys....of course have to start club...find members....keep the nerds in the 
retro computer club away from the karate club members...rarefied apple ii 
nerds messing wtih oks cards...startle easily....and do not appreciate 
friendly banter of front snap kicks in general area of groin...which women 
in karate club find amusing to do to the unprepared men of said club..come 
to think of it ..the men in the karate club don't find it too amusing 
either.......did i say i have an infrastructure problem in life 
lately....need to get all these projects done to can have some place to go 
to work on stuff...and ....well..so it goes


by the way i type these rants when i have work..otherwise i'd just 
lurk..(work nites apple 2 newsgroups are powerful exciting at 2am)

whatever....be a HOST yeah right....
