Re: Commodore 1960 monitor work with IIgs?



If you have some full details on a site somewhere, I'd love to see
them. I have a IIGS that I'm setting up for my 2-year-old for when
he's a little older, and would love to "ruggedize" it by putting it in
a IIe case. 

My memory is so hazy on ][ hardware these days... 

I wonder if it's possible to completely gut a IIe, take the top off of
a IIGS, fit it in a IIe case, attach the Iie keyboard cable directly
to the IIGS motherboard somewhere, and close the top of the IIe. Yeah
the IIe backplane would have to be hacked to accomodate cabling, but
other than that, how about it?
