Don't bother dropping the speed - it's not a signal quality problem.
It's a software quality problem. :-)  Are you using v0.0.7?  I did have
trouble in earlier revs getting all 64k-1 blocks sent, but got rid of
one (of perhaps several...) bug getting in my way, and it worked the
last couple of times I tried it.

The protocol is definitely shaky.  140k images rarely saw a problem,
but expecting flawless operation for an hour is a dicey proposition,
for sure.  The server is a good place to be watching for timeouts and
behave accordingly.  Let me know what rev you're at, and we'll take it
from there...
