No disrespect intended at all. But I haven't found Syndicomm Chat to be an
Apple II area at all. I signed on there hoping to meet up with Apple II
people I used to know back in the BBS days. But there isn't much talk of
Apple II at all. Most of what I see is 99% irrelevant Mac talk. The Mac is
the most perfect machine ever built. Apple is the greatest company on the
face of the earth and can do no wrong. Conversely, there is nothing good
about Windows whatsoever, period...and PC's suck big purple donkey .... you
get the picture.

This isn't what I expected from a chat arena that bills itself as Apple II.
I am an Apple II enthusiast, not a Mac enthusiast. I am also a Windows user
and I'm okay with that. When I develop an application, I'd like to see it
ported to other platforms, to give even more people the benifit of using it.
When a Mac user develops an application, the attitude is "It'll be ported to
Windows over my dead body." But then, I'm not a real programmer either
because I write apps for Windows.

Bottom line, I hope the new Apple II Chat Forums on A2 Central are ACTUALLY
Apple II focused. I see no need to hang out in a chat room that mainly
discusses Macs, since i'm not a Mac user. I have nothing against Macs or
Apple Computer. I'm sure Macs are fine machines. But my PC is also a fine
machine (I built it myself). I don't appreciate being made to feel like
trailer park trash on account of my choice of computing platform.
