ok...it looks like I'm going to have to try and salvage 256K from
another card (read de-soldering required) to get the full 1Mb. I have
tried the card in both a ROM01 and ROM03 (see my previous posts). You
might be right because I did observe different results between the
ROM01 and ROM03.

I'll post my results when I get around to trying this.


Wow--I'd think that finding eight 41256s would be a lot easier and
less risky than desoldering them from a place where you might actually
want them!  Aren't there old PCs lying around chock full of 41256s?
