Yes, I can burn 27256 eproms, do you know where I can find good ROM dumps? Is the 27 series pin-to-pin compatible with the original IIc ROM?
firmware and cut and solder the two jumpers on the motherboard (drop of solder to join -(||)- and a sharp knife to cut -|><|- making it open circuit)
I would like to restore the machine to its original status, but if these are specific jumper pads (not traces) it's ok, I can always cut & resolder at a later time.
Too bad I didn't write down the MB version number before re-assembling. The serial is 2A2S4-006383 probably making it an early unit.
