Re: Grappler +/DuoDisk/Accellerator questions

Imagewriters are serial printers, so you need a super serial card (or clone). Serial cards are plentiful, cables are easy to find, and this is a reliable way to print.

The Grappler is a parallel interface (a really good one too).

DuoDisks are the last drive I would recommend to anyone, but they too are plentiful. If someone here doesn't sell you one, you can buy one cheap on eBay.

Hi,

I'm just curious if there is a way to connect an Apple Imagewriter I or
II printer to a Grappler+ interface card installed in an Apple IIe
Enhanced. If not, how do I connect the Imagewriter to the computer?
I'm looking for a printer for my IIe but I need to know what is going
to work with my card. Also, just a few other questions... I'm looking
for a DuoDisk plus the interface and I was wondering if anyone could
maybe point me in the right direction... And also I'm just curious what
sort of RAM expansion and/or accellerator options are available for the
IIe owner. I have seen many of both, but only for the GS.

Thanks,
Conrad
