Her is a copy of the TS1000 character set:
http://web.ukonline.co.uk/sinclair.zx81/appxa.html (same as the ZX81).
A generic character set mapper would be interesting to have, say a 255
line text file containing just a simple lookup table such as:

ASCII CODE = MAPPED CODE

for example, the TS1000 would contain entries like this:

32=0
34=11
28=48
29=49
30=50

etc.

Then you could translate incoming codes to the map code and vice versa.
This would allow the program to be used with other older computers that
have RS232 ports but non-standard ASCII characters (ie Spectrums, TI
99's etc).

I am trying to get an rs232 working on one of my TS1000's, would love
to use it to access my webservers and maybe even the usenet?
