That would be neat.  Stop the cpu, read the softswitches for the
current video mode (and retain those), backup $400-$7ff to onboard ram
and then take control with a UI menu.

Or am I going way too far with that idea?  I've been known to do that.

(oh, and make sure it works on 6502 machines, that seems to be a
requirement ;-)
