Ditto here, but it seldom stops at having *one* spare for me! For more recent stuff (I also collect (primarily Nintendo) console gear) there's the "playing" console, the "spare" console and the "mint in box" console. Then there's the accessories, as above. Then there's the find at the junk market that was just too good to pass up (dirt-cheap 2nd "spare"), then the one I found in a council cleanup (free, a 3rd "spare"), etc etc.
