This I realise, but though I have no GS here to test with, the
composite output from my //c looks pretty sharp & stable on my Japanse
(LCD) HDTV.

Thanks for the pointer. I wasn't aware of the selection pins. But then
SCART wasn't particularly common in NZ either.
