I think it was a Compaq supply.
Anyhow, couldn't take it back. eBay.

It probably wouldn't work out cheaper for me unfortunately. I blew my
budget (yes $10 was my budget) on the powersupply. I'd be lucky to find
anything even remotely affordable around here anyway.
I'm guessing you live in the USA, judging from the name of the store
you mentioned?


next chance I get, I'll go through my collection of components and see
if I have anything usable to make the regulator. next step after that
is to do some pricing elsewhere.

If that fails, or works out more costly (same thing really) I'll try to
lay my hands on an AT power supply at the next computer market.

I have a massive queue of projects all in various states of
incompleteness. I hope I finish one for a change :)

So far the C64 is winning the race. The MAX232 arrived yesterday. Now
if only I could figure out what's up with contiki...
