If you've already started modding the power supply, I suppose it's too late
to take it back and get one that provides -5V.  Every aftermarket ATX and
MicroATX power supply I've run across provides -5V; the ones that don't have
been OEM power supplies in boxen from eMachines and other companies.

Even at that, power supplies (especially the smaller ones) are cheap enough
that you might still come out ahead by buying another one instead of hacking
the one you have.  250W-300W MicroATX power supplies typically go for $25 or
so at Fry's.
