There's a Wikipedia article for the Lisa assembler which claims it
stands for Lazerware's Interactive Symbolic Assembler. The article also
has a picture of what I assume is the manual's cover. On it is LAZER'S
Interactive Symbolic Assembler.
Officially at least Apple's Lisa was an acronym from Local Integrated
Software Architecture (yeah, right!). Then again the Macintosh was
almost MAC from Mouse Activated Computer.
