This isn't a dipswitch setting -- closer to the serial connector on the
card there is a "jumper block" with an arrow on it. Right now yours is
probably pointing to a label on the card that says "modem". If you
carefully pull this block out, rotate it 180 degrees, and reinsert it
you will put it in "terminal" mode. It basically does the same thing
that a null-modem adapter does, just directly in the circuitry of the
card.

Depends on the game. If you see the ] prompt when it is booting you
might be able to break out of the startup pressing CTRL-C. Most games
will set the Ctrl-Reset handler to reboot the computer.

That's correct. If you boot the disk and see the "prodos" startup
messages, you'll know it is definately not Dos 3.3 :-) Otherwise, if
it is some sort of custom dos you will probably never be able to get to
the prompt and use regular dos 3.3 commands like "catalog" and so on.

Probably. I would imagine ADT was designed to work for folks that have
a working computer and no disks. I could be wrong though.

Blank without 3.3 -- however you might want to format and verify the
disk just to make sure it doesn't have any media errors. Those
floppies die so easily. And nowadays we have many more sources of
electro-magnetic radiation to kill them faster (don't leave your
cellphone near your floppies -- have you heard what it sounds like next
to a speaker?)
