Very nice work.  I especially like your mention of M4 -- shame on my CS
degree for not knowning about that GNU tool.  :-(  I should be forced
to write C programs again for that. (Augh!  nooooo!!  :-D )

Anyway, you should also consider ACME for 6502/65c02/65816 assembler as
well.

Acme allows you to do some really powerful macros and supports includes
for macro libraries, and the sort.  I have found it to be fast, stable
