Re: Will it break my AppleII?

Actually, it's an Apple IIe. I found out that i can get machine with
part cheaper than a part alone on ebay. For the past month, i tried to
buy a pair of disk II drives and a duodrive.
from about 3 bids i observed.
a pair of disk II drives costs about 50-60 dollars
a duodrive costs about 50 dollars

The funny thing is that i got
2 disk II drives + apple IIe about 37 dollars
duodrive + apple IIe + mouse about 30 dollars

I saw twice that one SSC costs nearly about 20 dollars. Again, if i
want to buy one, i will certainly look for SSC+apple IIe as it will
cost you about the same amount. This includes shipping cost already.
This phenomenon is going on for about a month now. I don't understand
why?

And yes, i found that Apple II or II+ cost a lot more than IIe. It's
rarer but for me, IIe will do. It still gives me a feel of Apple II and
it's a lot cheaper and easier to find.
