OK, so I've started the quest to build this cable. Good GRAVY! There
aren't any electronics stores I can find in the area anymore! They've
all closed, gone out of business, or turned their focus to something
completely different. I called 5 places and they were not answering or
had changed very significantly. Radio Shack had only TWO types of
D-sub connectors - DB9 and DB25. They didn't have anything else.
Finding a D-sub connector in the DB15 form looks like it will be VERY
difficult! I got a DB9 for the 1080 side of things. Not sure at this
time where I'm gonna end up finding the DB15 side. 99.9% of the DB15
stuff I see on websites or even in stores appears to be the HD15 (i.e.
high density DB15 with 3 rows of pins for an SVGA/XVGA connection).
I remember when Radio Shack would have had everything I needed.
