awesome.  I'll have a go at that if I can identify which is which. ;-)
I see more than 4 diodes on this board, though.  Also, it no longer
blows fuses.  It just doesn't produce any power.  Almost as if it's not
really doing anything on the DC side of the circuit at all.  Strange.

There is a diode and a transistor located very close to the edge of the
transformer.  Both of them had bad solder joints -- most probably
because that transformer gets extremely hot (guessing by the
malfunctining fan above it and the yellowed discoloration on the
underside of the board where the transformer is soldered) -- Anyway,
i've repaired those solder joints but still no response or any blown
fuses either.

Funny that I should favor a 20mb drive over a scrap 15gig drive lying
around for testing purposes...  So how do I identify the bridge on this
board?  Would it be between the power and the transformer?
