Do you want to get the drive spinning again?  The usual "stiction"
remedies ought to work to get it going.  I'm not quite sure how to put
it into words, but... you pull the drive out of its case, hold the
drive vertically with your hands, and give it sharp rotation kinds of
motions along the axis of the spindle.  In other words, rotate the
drive along the plane of the platters... quick, snappy little jerks.
Got my 40MB Apple drive going again in my IIci recently that way. :-)
