I have a GSE supply for my system.  First of all, the power I get out
of this unit is a couple of magnitutes cleaner over the old GS
supply's. (Both the shiny and brushed aluminum units)  I can actually
run my accelerators 1-2 mhz faster with greater stability with the GSE
vs the Apple ones.  Its a heck of a deal for $55.

As far as heat dissipation, I disconnected the integrated cooling fans
(I'm not a fan of fans).  The GSE supply actually runs hotter than
stock this way, probably due to it being a switched supply rated for
200W and designed with an integrated fan.  If it was a 60w rated
supply, it would probably run significantly cooler than the GS's.
However, with the fans turned on, the case doesn't even get warm.
