Hi,
1. The 'iDataBoss' field is supposed to contain the full pathname to
the application able to handle the document files described in the
icon file. The FTN say that "most developers creating icons will wish
to set this to the full pathname of the application on the shipping
disk". I assume that most IIgs users tend to reorganize their software
to their needs and/or install them on a hard disk. So how is this
supposed to work with the full pathnames in icon files pointing to
some shipping disk ? Are GS/OS application supposed to come with a
fullblown installation tool that creates an appropriate icon file on
the fly? Or are GS/OS users accustomed to patch their icon files ?
2. Is there a desciption of the contents of the 'iDataBig' and
'iDataSmall' field available online ? If not, what are the dimensions
and color depths of the images ?
Thanks in advance, Oliver
