I like the baby monitor idea. Thought of something similar - I have schematics for a small, low-powered AM transmitter. Thought I might build him one from my spare parts box and he could use an AM radio to listen for it. I'll ask him about the LQ settings on his computer. There's a very good chance he doesn't know about it. I just hope it's not the print head. Ralph
