Agreed. The PC Transporter was about the most elegent hardware cludge
in the history of the computing universe, but the result was a (mostly)
fully functional PC from the era, taking up no more desk space than
your Apple II already was. The fact that it could be used to transfer
files between drive formats, or be used as an Apple II ramcard, was
sauce for the goose.

I would think a working one, with various cabling, would make that
whole system worth around $100.

Generally, however, I must agree with the notion that claiming Apple II
computers to be RARE, VALUABLE, or VINTAGE is just laughable. Hell, I
recently bought SEVEN IIGS's for $3 each. And a monitor for $20.

The various peripherals are what is genuinely rare and valuable. And
