Let's say that someone creates an SVGA card for the Apple IIe/gs. It's a
good quality card. It has all the standard modes and say two or three
higher-res modes. It's well-supported by the developer. Prices for
cruddy SVGA cards fetch over hundreds of dollars on E-bay, and everyone
has wanted an SVGA card for a long, long time. Despite all of this, only
nine people buy the card, because it costs too much.
