IIRC in Battlestar Galatica they used the same intercom's that we had at 
work, Stentofon (I still think they look cool so I saved a few of them 
from the garbage, probably more or less useless without the central 
though...)

I like the design of the Apple II too so I got myself a IIe rather than 
a IIgs (I wanted a II Europlus but they were long between and pricy on 
eBay at the time (last year). I wanted an A2 to revive some nice old 
memories.)
