You could do a variation of what Econ did with the SoundMeister:
1) Cut some sheet metal to slightly exceed the width/height of a DB-25
cutout.
2) Drill holes where the jackscrews would go, large enough to accomodate
a 6-32 machine screw. (I think 1/8" would do, but don't hold me to it.)
3) Drill holes for whatever connectors you want to put on it (I'm guessing
you want a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack).
4) Mount the connectors.
5) Install into an empty DB-25 cutout with a couple of 6-32 screws and nuts.
(The SoundMeister used a couple of pems instead of nuts, but that's an
implementation detail.)
