Here we go again.
I really wish you'd stop talking out of your backside like this, you're only
making a fool out of yourself.

Pentium 4 AKA i686 *IS* very VERY similar to RISC.
It's instruction set it CISC but is based on a microcode architecture that
IS RISC. You just don't program directly in microcode. The chip translates
the CISC instructions into much smaller RISC steps before they get
pipelined.

And power consumption has NOTHING at ALL to do with whether a CPU is CISC or
RISC.
