Are you including the time to take the monitor off the
Apple II and open the case, remove the interface card,
remove the CF card from the interface card, and the
reverse to put it all back together?

As I noted, I always have the top off, and I remove and
insert the CF card with the CFFA still in the machine
(but turned off, of course), so it's not much more
time than plugging it into my PC.
