Re: Best Way To Transfer Files From a PC to the IIgs

What kind of bandwidth did you get for the file transfers?

How fast is your CPU?

8MHz Zip Chip--so what bandwidth would I see if I were
transferring, say, a couple of megabytes of files to a
CFFA "disk".

I'll be I can beat it by walking across the room with a 128MB
CompactFlash card I've written with CiderPress. ;-)

Ah but in the case of a IIgs where you might have a cover, system saver
and monitor parked on top of your CFFA card, it might just come in
handy ;)

I've had the top off of my //e so long that I'd have to look for
it if I wanted to replace it. ;-)

I'm still waiting for the CFFA extension cable that will
let me push in a CF card through a Dremel-extended vent
slot in the right side of the case (they're just the right
width ;-).
