AFAIK OSX did away with ProDOS support... I believe OS9 can handle
physical ProDOS diskettes, but I don't have the hardware to test that
theory... at least it can mount disk images with no problem.

It should work just fine... I'd recommend getting a copy of DiskDup+, as
it seems to support ProDOS diskettes much better than Disk Copy.

I've made bootable ProDOS disks on a manual inject drive many times...
again DiskDup+ is the key... if you do have probs you could always just
swap over the drives, which is pretty easily done on most macs.
